For school leaders

Professional learning that reaches the classroom.

Professional learning tends to be most valuable when it continues after the training day. We work alongside your teachers in small, sustained cohorts and support your assessment from baseline to final mock, with the scope shaped around your school's curriculum and agreed development priorities.

Staff development

Staff cohorts

The same instructional coaching model we use for individual teachers, delivered for your school.

  • Cohorts of up to five, grouped by experience and need
  • Where mentor availability allows, larger schools can run several cohorts in parallel
  • Structured support for new and early career teachers, alongside your own onboarding
  • Nine weeks to six months, with start dates agreed around your calendar
  • Delivered online, with in-school visits by arrangement
  • Built on your teachers' real planning, teaching and resources

For your school

What the partnership is designed to support

Consistency across classrooms

A shared professional language and common routines, helping good practice spread between departments rather than staying with individuals.

Support for new colleagues

Structured, subject-specific mentoring that helps new teachers settle in, grow in confidence and feel invested in.

Reviewing progress

Written summaries of the work undertaken, observations and agreed next steps, for senior leaders and governors.

Continued development

Resources, routines and agreed next steps to support continued development after each programme.

The process

How an engagement runs

  1. 1

    Scoping

We understand your school, curriculum, staffing and development priorities.

  2. 2

    Baseline

Learning walks, a look at pupils' work and an assessment review, so we can agree goals together.

  3. 3

    Cohorts

Small groups work through the plan, teach, reflect and refine coaching cycle.

  4. 4

    Review

A written summary of the work undertaken, observations and agreed next steps.

Assessment services

Assessment design and review support

Examination results matter to pupils, families and schools. Well-designed assessment can support examination preparation while helping teachers identify what pupils understand and what needs further attention. Scope, deliverables and responsibilities are agreed before work begins.

Baseline diagnostics

Entry assessments that map prior knowledge and misconceptions, helping teaching start in the right place.

Checkpoint and IGCSE mock preparation

School-based mock assessment support: paper and mark-scheme preparation, marking, and item-level analysis (ILA) with feedback reports for pupils, teachers and senior leaders.

Independent preparation support; not an official examination service.

Formative assessment standardisation

Shared success criteria, moderation sessions and sample-marking, supporting consistency of judgements across classes and departments.

Assessment design review

Reviewing assessment materials for curriculum coverage, clarity, accessibility and consistency of marking, considering validity, reliability and fairness in relation to each assessment's intended purpose.

Question and mark-scheme writing

Practical training that helps departments sharpen their questions, clarify mark schemes and design hinge questions for use in lessons.

Technology and AI-enabled assessment

Options such as self-marking quizzes, question banks, digital rubrics and selected uses of AI for drafting, reviewed by teachers for accuracy, suitability and bias.

Feedback and suggested teaching priorities are included where agreed within the assessment package.

Our commitment

Consent and safeguarding

Lesson observation and any recording are agreed separately with the school. Before recording, the necessary permissions, participant information, access arrangements and retention period must be in place, taking account of applicable law and school policy. Recordings are framed to minimise the inclusion of identifiable pupils. Where recording is agreed, access is restricted to authorised recipients through the school's approved protected sharing arrangements, with download restrictions or digital rights management (DRM) applied where supported. Retention and deletion arrangements are agreed before recording begins.

All mentors are affiliated with formal mainstream schools and have cleared the local and international safeguarding and background checks those schools require. In addition, educators.world arranges independent background verification for every mentor. Where a programme involves information moving between countries — for example classroom recordings or pupil work — cross-border transfers are arranged on a case-by-case basis with the school, taking account of the data protection requirements that apply in the relevant jurisdictions.

We would be delighted to hear about your school.
