Evidence-informed professional learning
Great teaching, built over time.
educators.world provides small-cohort mentoring for teachers and schools across India and Southeast Asia. We combine practical guidance with peer learning, using teachers' own lessons and reflections as the foundation.
Why it matters
The curriculum has gone international. We help classroom practice go with it.
A different way of teaching
When teachers move between curricula — especially into an international one — they may need time to become familiar with different approaches to lesson planning, classroom dialogue and assessment. Ideas such as active learning and metacognition are easy to name and can take practice to embed. We build on teachers' existing subject knowledge and experience with support tailored to that transition.
Development that lasts
Whether colleagues are new to the school or developing an established practice, sustained mentoring can complement the professional learning already in place. Orientation programmes and training days do valuable work; lasting change in classroom practice also benefits from time to try approaches, reflect and receive supportive feedback.
Pedagogy first, technology second
From interactive panels to generative AI, new tools arrive faster than schools can evaluate them, and technology easily becomes the goal instead of the support. We start with how pupils learn, then choose tools carefully, only where they genuinely serve that learning.
Our model
Small, sustained and built on real work
Small cohorts
Every cohort has at most five teachers, so each person's mentoring focuses on their own classroom and their own pupils.
Sustained, not one-off
Programmes run from nine weeks to six months, allowing time to try approaches, receive feedback and revisit practice.
Matched groups
Experienced teachers refining their practice and early career teachers building their foundations always work in separate cohorts. Each group has its own goals, language and pace.
Your real work
Teachers plan, teach and reflect on the lessons, resources and assessments they already have to produce for their school.
Built around the work you already do, with dedicated time for reflection and professional dialogue.
Our coaching cycle
Plan. Teach. Reflect. Refine.
Each cycle focuses on one agreed action step, practised, reviewed and adapted in your own classroom.
-
1
Plan
Design a real lesson for your class, with structured feedback from your mentor on sequencing, modelling and checks for understanding.
-
2
Teach
Teach it, practising your action step. Where the school permits, we observe remotely.
-
3
Reflect
Examine evidence of pupil learning, first on your own and then with your mentor.
-
4
Refine
Adapt the next lesson, resource or assessment, and repeat.
